Windows vista and it's anti-vista followers! What's going on?

It seems to me that many people who have had bad luck with windows vista are posting negative comments about the operating system, and there seem to be a anti-vista group that's fueling this. Many people say windows vista is slow but if you do simple things like add more memory and delete programs that you're not using, maybe the problem that you're having wouldn't exist anymore. Instead of doing these simple tweaks many people just throw in the towel and come to the conclusion based on "what people are saying" and blame vista. Maybe their computer illiterate self is to be blamed! I'm not a microsoft employee so i'm not trying to defend them, but i simply chose not to follow tom, and harry. I want to see for myself if windows vista is really slow, and so far it's fine to me. So windows vista OS owners tweak the program before u come to a conclusion based on "hear say". I have a intel core 2 duo with 4GB memory and it works great. Who else out there is a follower, let me hear from u
