Personal Choice vs. Group Control - Where do you "Draw the Line?" Please Explain.?

Your question seems to be asking 'Freedom at what Cost?' I think this has to be a personal decision according to the cirstances. Sometimes personal choice seems to be reasonable but it requires discretion at a level that group control cannot give because it does not 'know' the individual and cannot make a myriad of exceptions to individuals. If we get it wrong we can harm others unitentionally. So, I think most of us use personal choice where the 'trade-offs' seems good and surrender (to some extent) when they do not! But, where we are strong enough we can often give up part of our self-interest to benefit many others.
