Is there a type of infection that can ?

stop a woman's period for months? because after going 6ish months without any periods, and this week starting antibiotics for a sinus infection/bronchitis combo, I suddenly got a full-on normal (normal for me =heavy) period. is this just a coincidence or could it be that the antibiotics have helped to clear something else up too?
