Anyone out there have a long distance relationship that's worked out?

me and my boyfriend met on a cruise 2 summers ago in europe. he is from venezuela and i am from philadelphia. we are both 16 now and when we were on the cruise we promised eachother that that wouldnt be the last time we saw eachother. so we video chatted every day for 7 months and then finally met up with our familys in aruba over the spring. this summer he came to philadelphia for 5 weeks to study english (even tho hes fluent) and we spent alot of time together then. and finally just a few days ago our familys were together in miami beach over the winter holiday. i love him so much and we are not in an open relationship. we are loyal and trust eachother. we talk everyday and one thing we always talk about is our future. we know we wan to be together and i was just wondering if anyone out there...it has worked for you.. thank you so much!!
